Andrew McDonald – Managing Director
Andrew is at the forefront of innovative value added product design, development and implementation with many successful world firsts behind his name. His numerous successes were developed through his hands-on work ethics and studying a range of subjects spanning new physics, Ecosystemic Epistemology, quantum theories, environmental policies, ethno botany, purpose living and leadership development. He also technically assisted in a thesis entitled “Emotional Intelligence as a Determinant of Leadership Potential”. Andrew is a leader who strongly and passionately believes that people should effectively use their gifts and talents while here on earth for the development of others and in so doing, give true fulfillment to their own lives.

 


Andrew’s diversified executive management abilities and international business experience has enabled him to hone his skills at leading and supporting a strong portfolio of key customers across the globe. His 20 plus years of innovative and sustainable product developments has allowed him to obtain an enormous amount of inter-personal behavioral skills in the individual, public and private business sectors. Having single handedly researched, developed, launched and then marketed his own medical aid option in conjunction with Fedsure Health’s (Pty) Ltd administration, he learnt very quickly how to achieve revenue targets through effective selling and key management relationships.


He understands strategic, functional and operational business processes and continually apply these to KPI’s where the outcome of such tasks drive the corporate strategic advantages to maximize product and service uniqueness to increase further revenues. Throughout his unique business ventures in the healthcare industry, his main responsibilities had to include business developments within local and regional communities through approaches to businesses and government bodies where he worked to provide a service designing, proposing, negotiating and agreeing terms of business with all key contacts and regulatory organizations. To date Andrew and his team has built a unique MIS to help HOD’s drive their respective organization’s strategic advantages. Alongside his management experience, Andrew has several World firsts behind his name where his innovative entrepreneurial abilities shine through.


 

Strategic Finance and Management
David McLean – B. Acc - CA (SA) - Tax Law
David’s exposure to the banking and risk management industries over many years has equipped him with many strengths, personal knowledge, expertise and capabilities. He is very strong in financial management and the analysis of the state of a business as evidenced by it books of account. His sound tax knowledge allows a full investigation of this aspect. He is entrepreneurial in his approach to most matters, which is in part evidenced by some of the businesses he has started. David is a forward thinker and this he achieves through development and management of strategic processes. He offers specific experience and expert knowledge in the following areas, namely - Corporate Finance – on a transactional level, Structured Finance – on a transactional level and Private Equity – on a management level. David offers good financial analytical skills that enabling him to fully understand both client needs and their current financial position.



Business Innovation

James Martin - Bsc
James began with small business management in 1992, when at the age of 22 his construction company had a staff compliment 45. Since then he has pioneered land reform projects, patented community water supply technologies and trained and supported hundreds of small business operators throughout the Country in business management. For the past 13 years he has been a director in Vantage Holdings, focussing on Local Economic Development strategies and offering creative approaches to business solutions. Since 2006, he has also been involved in redesigning large public transport systems and interrogating creative ways of leveraging finance in a manner which promotes micro enterprise. His strengths lie in the ability to understand the needs and challenges of business and to find creative mechanisms and strategies to turn them around.     


Public Management and Training
Butch Bauer - Organization and Work Study; Joint Applications Development (JAD); and Management Systems (National Certificates)

Butch progressed to the rank of Senior State Accountant in the Finance Branch, spearheading a number of system changes for the improvement of service delivery.  His constant search for service improvement lead him to change his career path from finance (after 12 years) to Organization and Work Study, where he spent the next 8 years facilitating various programmes geared towards service delivery improvement and advising management at all levels on various matters. He resigned from the Public Service in 1995 with a view to providing service delivery improvement services to various bodies and organizations, and has consulted extensively in most KZN Departments in all components.

 

His Works experience has been assimilated from 1987 when he undertook a number of O&WS investigations at the Department of Works (DoW).  Following his resignation from the KZNPA, Mr Bauer was again employed as a consultant by the DoW in 1996, to assist with the amalgamation and rationalization of the Department, and has to date undertaken various organizational development projects in various components of the DoW, including the supervision and project management of his consultants deployed in the Real Estates component, to assist with the development of policies and input to legislation, as well as the clearing of real estates backlogs.
